Bontril
Bontril information
With it’s three types of formulas, Bontril is an appetite suppressant that comes in the following formulas:
• Bontril PDM Oral
• Bontril Slow-Release Oral
• Bontril SR Oral
All of the variations of Bontril serve various purposes. For example PDM is long acting; as a result, it should not be chewed or broken. Just as the name implies, Bontril Slow-Release works by blocking the appetite throughout the day. Generally, Bontril works best when it is taken on an empty stomach.
As with any prescribed medication, people with any of the following medical conditions should confer with a physician before taking Bontril: kidney disease, diabetes, emotional problems, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma or high blood pressure. Certain patients have experienced excessive energy which may lead to sleeplessness. Consequently, Bontril should be avoided in the later part of the day.
